Delicious specialties that know their craft

It's nice that there is still something like that, from rolls to bread to cakes and other delicacies, everything homemade. I like to spend a little more on that.

The choice is plentiful and expensive. Not always very fine, you get the impression that it was better. What I really find a shame: The service, the operation: UNFRIENDLY. One has the impression that this is exemplified from above or that friendliness is not exemplified. I don't go there anymore because I'm annoyed every time how UNFRIENDLY you are there. To give a smile or friendliness costs NOTHING.

My bridal couple in October 2019 received a heavenly delicious and beautiful wedding cake from Café Merci. Great craftsmanship and a real eye-catcher. I also ordered two cinnamon rolls in the summer of 20. Although these are not regularly on offer, I was happy to be helped and so I was able to pick them up the next day as agreed.

What can I say? Merci for the cake, eclair, croissant, bread. Everything was very delicious. We will come back in any case.

If you are in Sulzbach or nearby, then a visit is a must! Unbeatable price / performance ratio. We particularly noticed the service here. The friendliest service I have ever encountered.

Great macaroons, cakes, tarts and a very, very good coffee

Unfortunately, the cakes are no longer what they used to be. 56.00 € for a cake made of artificial buttercream is way too overpriced. It's a shame because the cakes used to be a culinary delight. For us it was a nougat cream cake. You had to work hard until you had just a hint of nougat in your nose. Too bad. We're not buying here again.

We got the world's best and most delicious wedding cake! Even our guests asked us to do it again. Both the Sacher and the berry cream cake (fresh berries, no frozen food !!) were really delicious. Very lovingly done, every detail was right, great consultation in advance - D A N K E!

Far too much praised. There is no other pastry shop in Bad Soden. In my opinion, the quality of the cakes does not match their extremely good reputation. The gluten-free bread is delicious though.

A real classic coffee, with a chandelier, parquet and wine-red sofas ... really nostalgic. In addition, the exquisite cakes, a great selection of breakfast and small meals, and fantastic croissants that taste like in France!

Best cakes and service in the town!! Period!!

It started with the fact that, despite the reservation, we only got a "cat" table in the middle of the room next to the toilet. Since we had seen that after 15-20 minutes during which we were repeatedly put off ("come to you right away") several tables were vacant, we asked to be allowed to move. Only on request was this table wiped briefly with a used rag - not disinfected! The food was good, except for the orange juice. When I asked about salt for my fried eggs, however, I was given the salt that was on the next table without disinfection. That's why this café won't see me again anytime soon. The café in Bad Soden could not confirm the good impression that we had of the sister café in Kronberg by far.

Really delicious cakes, pies and other sweet treats. As far as I can tell, everything was homemade. We recommend.

All of their breads are promisingly delicious. No doubt to that. Today the waitress Birgit, served us a wonderful brunch. I asked for her name thanks to the satisfying service. Normally the workers are not so friendly, but I realized that it could be different. 😊

Frankly, there is no reason not to come here. There could be people who haven't been here but there will be nobody who will be here only once.

The tart was pretty and the taste wasn't bad either. The staff was a normal response.

Nice Cafe in the heart of Bad Soden

Very nicely located in an alley. Cakes, cakes, sweet treats, bread and rolls. Nice service outside and inside.

There are super delicious and unusual cakes, tartlets, etc. Those who are on a diet should not come here. The service is well staffed, but still has a lot of room for improvement.

Update 2020: Service with new staff had went from good to terrible. Last of incident was that I waited more then 30 minutes for my drink. Kitchen, bakery and deserts are working still good, but most are waiters are terrible, thats why two stars less this time.

Amazing cakes and pastries and the bread is incredible. Super nice staff, would definitely recommend for lunch, dinner or cake!!

5* for the huge variety of cakes and deserts! I tried the choco fudge cake which was delicious. Next time we'll try also breakfast there ! Highly recommended for the coffee and desert in between meals;)

The best Salad with Sauteed Turkey Breast Strips (Salat mit Pute) in the region!! Absolutely delicious and satisfying with a lovely, authentic homemade vinaigrette dressing. Enjoy with their wonderful Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc)!

It's true - the coffee isn't amazing, but the pastries & cakes make up for it. It's a fantastic Sunday "Cafe und Kuchen" place. Service is friendly for German standard.

Awesome cakes but the staff is unfortunately quite unfriendly. Other reviews seem to confirm the same. Once I had an incident in which the blonde lady who works there regularly was directly rude because I called my wife a few times to ask her opinion on which cakes to buy. She continuously made faces and finally yelled at me saying "you are all the time on the phone, maybe your wife should come" and just stopped serving me. I was quite surprised and another woman continued with my order. It's just amazing how businesses can treat customers so badly.

Very nice place. Big choice of in house made cakes also some bakes and Pralinen.

In addition to great coffees and ice cream, the cafe offers a wide selection of breads and pastries, including French style goodies! It is conveniently located just off Königsteiner Strasse that runs through the heart of Bad Soden.

I would recommend this Cafe. Lovely cake and cappuccino
